Just over 20 years ago the owner of AR Burns Plastering Ltd, Alan Burns, a highly experienced plasterer from Christchurch, gave a young and eager, Clayton Ellery, the opportunity to learn his trade.

Following Alan's proven techniques as his teaching foundation, Clayton continues on with that same professional, high standard of work known and trusted within Nelson.

Now independently trading as AceWolf Interior Plastering Ltd. continuing his 20+ years of Plastering experience, Clayton Ellery has been working with his own team since 2019 and plans to introduce new members in the near future.

​

Clayton and the rest of his pack focus on solid work ethics, quality workmanship and how to consider the workers following on after the plastering foundation has been laid.

​

When the plastering is done well it allows for other members of the 'construction pack', such as the painters, to easily continue on to do what they specialise in.

Clayton and his pack can confidently say they leave each job with a smile on their faces, knowing they have done themselves and their customers proud!​

Story behind the name - AceWolf

​

While not directly related to the plastering industry, the name 'AceWolf' resonates personally with Clayton and signifies the 'pack mentality' of his leadership style.

Wolves are known for their strategic leadership skills. Acknowledging the place and value of every member of their pack. The Pack Leader places each member in a position for travel, best suited to their key strengths, to contribute to the survival of the pack and ensure everyone is looked after.

Another type of pack, is a pack of cards, of which the Ace is a unique card of importance. An Ace is versatile, it can be a low card or a high card and it can be placed at the start or at the end.
